What is reetha and how do you use it for hair? Aaritha (reetha, soapnut, boondi kottai in Tamil) is nature's shampoo: soak or boil the whole nuts and the water lathers gently, traditionally used with shikakai and amla as the classic Indian hair-wash trio for soft, naturally clean hair. It also washes delicate silks and jewellery the old-fashioned way. Whole sun-dried soapnuts, no chemicals at all. From our Oud Metha kirana, delivered across Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.
